Today's Question

Yesterday was a bit too busy for a question, so today's is two parts...Would you rather give up television or your car? If you gave up your car, how would you get around, and if you gave up your television, how would you fill that new found time?

  1. I would give up my television and start painting with my kids more. I would buy large canvases, spray paint and any other object that can help me/us with trying to create something. I think that the only problem I would come into would be me wanting to start painting illegaly again.

  2. I don't really do either of the two very much. But, if I had to completely give one up, it would definitely be the television. With the extra time, I would work on photos more, cook more, sleep more, and get back into yoga, since I haven't done it since I was pregnant with e.d. weezy.

  3. Both very good answers so far. Getting rid of either one would be better for the environment for one. Secondly, if everyone got rid of televisions it would certainly strengthen families, likely strengthen neighborhoods, increase productivity, art, communication, and education for starters. Getting rid of cars and televisions would be good for overall health and welfare. I'll stop there until later.

  4. I would definitely give up television, although I don't watch much anyway. However, if I gave up television I would never see my husband since television is his only hobby. I could give up my car if I stayed within Harrisville city limits as I could walk everywhere. But if I gave up my car I would never get to see my Edgar and I couldn't imagine not seeing my Edgar.
